What is Solar Sharer Offer?
The Solar Sharer Offer is an optional electricity plan available to eligible customers in New South Wales, South East Queensland and South Australia. It provides a set period of free power in the middle of the day- typically 11am-2pm in NSW/SEQ and 12pm-3pm in SA.
To be on this plan, you’ll need a smart meter, and it's best suited to households that can shift some of their energy use into the free period. Because of this, it may not be suitable for everyone, and any savings will depend on when you use electricity.
