Tango Energy recognises that current measures to protect the community from COVID-19 transmission are important and necessary. These measures have also created new challenges and financial difficulties for many people and it is equally important to deal with these. Tango wishes to help all customers throughout this difficult period and will provide assistance to those who need it. We can also give guidance on how to apply for grants to help meet your energy costs.
These are exceptional, unprecedented, and very rapidly changing circumstances and we are doing the best we can to work with the Government, industry, to support our customers.

Concessions and life support
Life support registration
To be registered for life support, Tango does not require customers to provide medical confirmation forms until further notice, making it easier to register and reducing unnecessary travel and social contact to help take the load off busy medical practitioners.

VIC: Tango is awaiting direction from the Victorian Government on any changes to concessions and will provide more information once it becomes available.
NSW: Customers in NSW applying for the Life Support Rebate or the Medical Energy Rebate must organise a telehealth appointment in order to receive a medical practitioner declaration. To find out how to apply and for more information please visit our Concessions and Rebates page.

Payment plans, financial support, and grants
If your household or small business is facing financial difficulties as a result of COVID-19 please call Tango on 1800 010 648. We can arrange a payment plan or payment extension. We can also guide you through the application process to apply for State Government financial support to help pay your household bill. For information about grants in your state, please see below:
Continuation of your energy supply
Tango Energy will only disconnect your energy supply if we are entitled to by the energy rules and current COVID-19 guidance from energy industry regulators. Please seek assistance from Tango Energy if you need your energy supply to be disconnected. If your energy supply is disrupted unexpectedly, please contact your energy distributor.
Network cost relief may be provided by your energy distributor. Please refer to the Energy Networks Australia website for more information.
Please note network cost relief is outside of Tango Energy's control.
